Nostos Hotel - Afytos

The shower in my room had a constant, annoying leak, unacceptable for a place of this supposed caliber. I also expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but no such luck. Don't bother with the maintenance of the public path to the beach, it's just a disaster. I almost considered giving a good review, but couldn't.

The hotel was in a stunning location near to a rocky beach area, and the most pretty and attractive gardens for what we wanted it for...

Perfect and special place, I greatly enjoyed very pleasant personnel.

The beds were big, I slept well. The pool was good and I had hot drinks in the main bar. The location was stunning and particularly good, in a very quiet area with easy access to a supermarket and shops. Also, The Photographic Angle was 2 km away from the hotel.

Nostos hotel was a real gem! So cozy and calm, perfect for couples. The view from our terrace was beautiful, just pine trees and that turquoise sea. Breakfast had enough choices and was super tasty. Clean and spacious beautiful double room, everything was well kept and comfy!

The only downer was the towel reservation situation for sunbeds. It felt unfair at times. The walk to the beach can be a bit steep, so be prepared!

We had a beautiful room - bedroom, nice bathroom, sitting room and balcony. Everything was well appointed, and includedthings like fridge, kettles and mugs that you don't usually see in Greece.

Amazing views, gorgeous grounds, peaceful and totally relaxing

The cottage was lovely, but the bed felt a bit uncomfortable.

The garden surrounding the hotel is beautiful and serene.

Although the overall experience was enjoyable, I faced several issues . The shower in my room had a constant leak, quite bothersome and affected the overall comfort. The path leading down to the nearby beach was poorly maintained and could be challenging to navigate, especially with the 250 steps involved.

Very tastefully decorated pool and garden area with calming, natural scenery enhancing the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel exterior and the dining area are smartly constructed and maintained to the last detail, making a truly pleasant impression. The personnel do not speak English very well, but are trying to service the guests as good as possible, though they could be more welcoming. The free Wi-Fi (both in rooms and public area) as well as the indoor pool, especially during bad weather conditions, could be marked as very favorable advantage. All of the entertaining services are exactly as offered and pictured (indoor pool, sauna, gym, entertaining area).

The hotel is a bid hard to find. Bigger and more frequent signs on the road with directions could help a lot. The food offer could be enriched and more wide-ranging. The reception area should reflect more the overall pleasant hotel atmosphere, thus could be improved so as to be more welcoming and cozy both in appearance and personnel communication. We expected a greater range of room amenities, than the basic ones offered.

Excellent staff, and great facilities, especially sauna, pool and turkish bath.

Everything was perfect, considering it is winter. In the summer, the beach might be too far, as you have to climb a lot of steps to get to a very small beach. Otherwise excellent and recommended in every way.

The staff were friendly, always attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent, particularly enjoyed the varied half board menu that changed . The pool area was a relaxing oasis, beautifully maintained with plenty of sun loungers and shaded spots available.

Nostos was a wonderful hotel that would be sutible for any couple, family or group of friends. The room was clean, the staff friendly, the bar prices reasonable and a good location. Nothing I could complain about!

We enjoyed our stay at Nostos Hotel immensley. It is a family run hotel and all staff including the family were fantastic. Restaurant lovely, location is amazing, this hotel has everything. The pool and all the hotel offers was of superior quality. The family were so nice and assisted with whatever querry you had.

The only minus I would say would be the comfort during the night was not the best, as it was warm and sleep was un-comfortable. The rooms are small and heated up very quickly. The balcony doors did not have a fly screen to let in cool air at night. They offered fans for guests at an extra cost. You should not have to pay for Airconditioning, as this is normally a standard wherever you go. This was advertised on the Nostros Hotel website has having Airconditioning. If Airconditioning is not automatically included in the price, then fly screens should be provided, for air flow at night time. I

Perfect for couples looking to unwind

The hotel was an excellent hidden gem for our escape. I remember lounging on the terrace with that view of the sea, the sun shining down, it was almost like a well-planned heist, everything falling into place. Led by the owner, were attentive.

It wasn't cheap, but for what we got, it was still acceptable.

The hotel is very convenient. it consist of 3 building each for 10-15 rooms, 2 pools and nice bar at the cliff under pine trees. should be very beautiful in summer.

bathroom is awful. it has shower with curtain, but curtain was too short and each time after using shower water was everywhere on the floor. to clean it has to use towels so after a short period bathrooms smells of dampness
